Review and Images by H. Seung
After months of hybernation, I have finally acquired a new dive watch. It's a Cyma, with British stock codes on the caseback. Case, dial, and hands are identical to CWC Royal Navy dive watch I had reviewed months ago.
It is water rated to 300m and has a large screw-down crown. Lugs are fitted with 20mm sized spring bars instead of fixed bars. Bezel clicks unidirectionally and feels very tough and solid.
Movement is your basic ETA quartz. Second hand hacks when the crown is pulled out for setting the time. Screw-down caseback is marked as followed...
0552/ 6645-99 7373314 /|\Clever readers might have noticed that this is almost the same inscription as found on CWC dive watches, but without the serial numbers nor the issue year. I believe this watch was not an actually issued timepiece. I wrote "almost" because the watch has Royal Navy stock code (0552) instead of 0555 found on CWC watches.
