The MWR Collector's Patch
is back. Due to popular demand, we've brought this patch back for
those folks who weren't around to get the first run, and also for those who
want to get more. These patches were custom embroidered in the USA
especially for the MWR community. The patch is patterned after unit and
squadron patches of the United States Armed Forces. The patches
commemorate the launch date of the Military Watch Resource; January 17,
2000, and features a stylized "Bulldog" logo.
These cloth patches measure approximately 4 inches tall by 3 inches wide, and are suitable for attachment to jackets, shirts, and soft luggage bags. By purchasing one of these patches, you are not only showing your dedication to our little community, but you are helping to defray the monthly costs of the MWR server and domain. |

Lum Chinese Folder Bob Lum/Spyderco Collaboration This is probably the last collaboration that custom knifemaker Bob Lum produced before his untimely passing. Those who are familiar with Bob Lum know how well thought out his designs were. We only have a few of these "production" Spydercos and when they are gone, there will be no more. Check around the web and you will see how rare these actually are.

Victorinox Swiss Army Rescue Tool Knife Winner of the 2007 knife of the year. The rescue tool was developed and perfected in cooperation with emergency medical and rescue services in a five-year project. The tool includes the most important functions for freeing someone trapped in a car. Recently, a co-worker witnessed a fiery accident on the freeway. The car quickly became enguled in flames. He and other witness worked frantically to free the trapped driver. Not having anything to break out the window, he kicked the windows without success. Finally, my co-worker picked up a piece of traffic debris and started banging on the window. After wasted minutes, the window was finally shattered, but then the seatbelt hampered the driver's rescue efforts. Tragically, the driver was burned over 90% of his body. My co-worker sustained serious cuts from the jagged metal car part used to break the window. Having this tool may not have guaranteed a safe extraction, but two important tools that were sorely needed that day were a window breaker and a seatbelt cutter. The rescue tool includes a one-handed blade, Phillips screwdriver, window breaker, strong 6mm screwdriver, bottle opener, wire stripper, punch and reamer, seatbelt cutter, key ring, tweezers, toothpick, disc saw, luminescent grip shells, nylon cord, red nylon case. Weight without case 180 grams
